Clinics in Yemen & MENA lose 30% of revenue due to no-shows. Receptionists spend 4+ hours daily just calling patients. We built Dir3 Lab to solve this.
What it does
Dir3 Lab is an AI Voice Agent that speaks Arabic dialects (Yemeni, Saudi, Egyptian) naturally:
- Calls patients automatically to confirm appointments
- Sends voice reminders
- Reschedules with AI understanding
- Updates clinic system in real-time
How we built it on Nebius
- Hosted our Arabic LLM & STT/TTS models on Nebius AI Cloud for low-latency inference (<300ms)
- Used Nebius GPU infrastructure (NVIDIA H100) for fine-tuning our dialect model
- Nebius S3 for call recordings & analytics
- Built to scale to 10,000+ concurrent calls
Challenges we ran into
Arabic dialects have no good STT models. We fine-tuned our own on Nebius GPUs.
Accomplishments that we're proud of
- 85% confirmation rate vs 50% manual
- Works on poor internet (Yemen use-case)
- First Arabic voice agent for clinics in region
What's next for Dir3 Lab
Launch in 10 clinics in Sanaa, integrate with hospital systems, and scale across MENA using Nebius global infrastructure.
