Inspiration

Traditional certificates don't work properly these times, they are not durable, hard to verify and portability is quite uncomfortable. Others solutions, like a pdf are easy to counterfeit and everyone can generate one.

What it does

Institutions send us the information to fill the certificate. After that, a Diplomatics administrator reviews, curate and creates the certificate. Finally, the institution is allowed to generate the Soulbound Token as a certification for the student.

How we built it

We met in ETHcc, and we decided to build something together. We are really into NFTs, but no one has ever done something with Soulbound NFTs. After some time discussing, we realised that the current certifications are not appropriated for the level of technology that is now available, so we thought a clear User Path, we developed some Sketches, and we started coding.

What we learned

We learned a lot about Crypto and Blockchain, our project architect tech us a lot.

What's next for Diplomatics:

Develop an SDK to allow users to "Claim" the Diploma through a button in the institution's website.
Allow institutions to enter the dApp (to mint the SBTs) only if they hold a particular NFT, used as a key.
Generate a genuine revenue stream.
ZK to keep the privacy of the holder of SBTs and the possibility to burn the NFT if you want.
