DinoMoney began as a passion project inspired by the simplicity and addictiveness of the classic Chrome dinosaur game. However, we wanted to take the concept a step further by integrating elements of entrepreneurship and finance into the gameplay. The idea sparked from a brainstorming session where we discussed ways to gamify financial concepts and make them more accessible and engaging for all ages. We noticed the widespread popularity of endless runner games like the Chrome dinosaur game and saw an opportunity to leverage that familiarity to teach basic financial literacy skills in a fun and interactive way. Working with Pygame presented a significant learning curve, especially when it came to designing intuitive user interfaces and implementing complex game logic. We discovered that achieving a balance between engaging visuals and functional interfaces required meticulous planning and iteration. Building the Project In the early stages of development, we focused on conceptualizing the game's user interface to ensure it was both visually appealing and easy to navigate. This involved designing layouts, creating sprites for characters and obstacles, and implementing animations to enhance the overall gaming experience.
