Inspiration
After brainstorming ideas about "set in stone" we came up with the ideas of "fossils", "time travel" and "fixed history". So we came up with the combinational idea of what if you were the one trying writing history so the future is fixed.
What it does
You can walk around as the janitor of a museum and interact with objects in many ways: pushing boulders, walking up slopes, walking on rocks, burning bushes, being killed by dinosaurs, killing dinosaurs with rocks.
How we built it
We used Godot and GDScript, using GitHub for version control.
Accomplishments that we're proud of
Trying new things - every one in our team tried something new, from programming in a new game engine to drawing pixel art.
What's next for Dino Die
We want to add a cutscene at the start set in the museum to explain the premise of the game.
