Inspiration
We thought the idea was cool and the website for the dining courts sucks.
What it does
Lets you rate the food at dining courts and see best-rated items at each dining court.
How we built it
We used Python Flask as the backend, SQLite3 as the database, and ReactJS as the front end.
Challenges we ran into
Frontend/API integration
Accomplishments that we're proud of
We got the API and backend to work and the static page looks cool.
What we learned
None of us were familiar with React, so it was a learning experience for all of us, and there's still lots of learning to come.
What's next for Dining Court Recommendation System
To better integrate the front-end with the back-end so that our front-end will successfully display the data from the database.
