Inspiration

As a group of budding developers with a shared passion for technology and a taste for dining out, we often found ourselves frustrated with long waiting times at our favorite local restaurants. This frustration became the catalyst for our project, Dine Master (Dine Hassle Free).

What it does

Dine Master is a project born out of determination and creativity. It's a reservation system designed for average and below-average hotels in busy town areas. Our goal was to create a simple yet effective solution for both restaurant owners and customers.

Dine Master provides a digital waiting list that customers can join when restaurants are fully booked. Users receive personalized estimated dining times based on factors like the waitlist size, existing reservations, and distance to the restaurant. We've implemented a unique QR code system that rewards loyalty with discounts on future visits, which restaurant owners can customize. For those without smartphones, we offer a toll-free messaging system for easy inclusion.

How we built it

With limited resources but boundless enthusiasm, we embarked on the journey of building Dine Master. We relied on online resources, tutorials, and our coding skills to bring the project to life. Collaboration and dedication were key as we worked together to create an intuitive platform.

Challenges we ran into
