Inspiration

Recent election caused us to reevaluate the power of the electorate caused us to .

What it does

Allows users to input data about their location. This is then mapped out onto google maps(ideally). This lets users know what kind of protests are happening around them.

How we built it

Using html and css, we constructed the website and it also features a twitter feed.

Challenges we ran into

Implementing the database. There were many options but we ended up choosing one that did not play well with out html code. We ended up figuring out what was wrong but there wasn't enough time left to fix it.

Accomplishments that we're proud of

This was our very first hackathon for 4/5 of us. We came without having any front end skills since our only programming experience was through c++ or python.
