Inspiration - Reinventing phone communications, through the years we seen phone and voice communication change on how we interact with friends, family and the workplace. With AT&T 5G and Magic Leap the Magicverse can be a true and tangible thing, and we can look at things in different aspects, how we order food, communicate tasks, seeing in different perspectives, based on Sci-Fi and cyberpunk films - Welcome to Digitalgram
What it does
A dial content system which allows users to use sample phone numbers to access specific content, reach business and information and much more
How I built it
Using Unity and Magic Leap, this will be the first prototype phase to see what the system would look like and how the system behaves
Challenges I ran into
Identifying correct and comfortable hand gestures to use with the application on Magic Leap and determine if the controller should be a fallback use case for interaction, also understanding phone systems are very complex and learning how to adapt this system into Spatial Computing
Accomplishments that I'm proud of
Charting out the project in steps, allowing the user to explore on there own and try sample phone numbers already created to explore and view holographic content
What I learned
Understanding telecomm services and how much it has grown globally for communication, mobile cellular networks, business communications and how Spatial Computing can change direct communication.
What's next for Digitalgram
During the hackathon first steps will be on building and integrating dialing system on the Magic Leap device and sample Holographic content. The end goal would be to establish partnership with AT&T 5G services with Magic Leap and participate in building what is possible for the Magicverse
