Inspiration
There are around 200 cultural heritage sites damaged or destroyed in Ukraine, galleries, museums, libraries and monuments. Our idea is, to create digital representation of the monuments, which could talk about their stories, while they are in danger.
What it does
The first AR prototype does show Ukrainian Monument, Mother of Ukraine, which talks emotionally about her current state.
How we built it
We have built it with Lens Studio and produced music with Ableton.
Challenges we ran into
It was tough, to optimize the models for Lens Studio.
Accomplishments that we're proud of
We have organised an exhibition, which did have very good feedback from our international guests, media, event venue and other partners.
What we learned
It was our first time, building AR app, so did learn how to use Lens Studio.
What's next for Tonal
We are going, to extend our app into interactive version, so that you could engage in human-like conversation to different monuments, not only Ukrainian ones, like Confucius, David, etc.
