Digital Twins in the Lighting Industry

Inspiration

While taking shifts for sleeping during this hackathon, we realized how bright some of the lights in the room were, prompting us to create a digital twin that could be used to better calibrate necessary lighting.

What it does

The digital twin allows for the user to adjust the position and power of the four different lights in the room.

How we built it

We build the digital twin using blender.

Challenges we ran into

We ran into challenges with modeling.

We're proud that we were able to complete this project in such a short amount of time.

We learned to better manage our time in the future.

Automated scanning of 3D environments in order to create lighting models of any room.
