It aims to help people find resources and information about Literature and reading in general. This website promotes education and basic skills especially for girl child.

Inspiration:

The inspiration behind this project was our love for literature and education and our thoughts about equality and education for all irrespective of their cast, culture or religion.

What it does:

Our project is a website which caters to the cause of equality in providing education as emphasized in the various parts of the website itself. It helps bridge the gap between people who are not able to read or buy books because they don't have money. Lastly, this simple idea was made with a special emphasis of education for girl child. Our site includes various events for reading enthusiasts that we ourselves are keen on taking up such as like Readathons , Authors Cafe, Reading Sessions and much more.

How we built it:

We used html5, css3 and some JavaScript(DOM manipulation basic). The website was first designed in adobe XD and then it was further coded and built using the previously mentioned technologies. The process of building this project was truly a team effort. By following proper planning sessions we are able to successfully complete it.

Challenges we ran into:

The most difficult challenge for us was time management and planning but we were able to overcome that challenge through team work.

Accomplishments that we're proud of:

We are very proud to have built such a project no matter how simple it is to contribute to society. We also hope our small contributions will make a better future and we can educate many people all across the world.

What we learned:

We learnt teamwork, collaboration and how to build a website completely.

What's next for Digital Library:

We hope on empowering readers across the globe and are very much keen on taking this project to a higher scale where we will build several other things in this by learning more.
