Inspiration

In this world the most of the people is suffering from anxiety depression and mental health trauma because of these trauma most of the people are choosing a wrong path and making a wrong decision in there life like committing a suicide involve in the illegal activities let me give you the example the one student has commited suicide due to the less marks obtained in the test these problems are occuring day by day. there is no one to show the right path of the life like the krishna ji showed a path to Arjun when he was depressed because he has to kill his brothers because to uphold the dharma and kill these evils in the battle field of Kurushetra the Krishna ji helped him by guiding him and showed him a right path so everyone deserves a friend like Krishna so we are going to make a digital krishna that can show you the right path by providing empathetic conversation guide we are going to understand the root of your struggles and we provide the lesson that can help you throughout your life.

Sanya and I started Digital Krishna because we noticed that many people feel confused, lonely, or stressed, but they do not always have someone they can talk to immediately.

We were inspired by the way Krishna guided Arjuna. Krishna did not make the decision for him. He helped Arjuna understand his fear, responsibility, and next step.

We wanted to create a modern platform where people could share an everyday problem, receive calm guidance, explore verified scripture, and learn through Krishna stories. During Build Week, we focused on making Saathi more structured, safer, multilingual, and connected with our scripture and story library.

What it does

Digital Krishna is a web platform that brings together:

  • Saathi GPT, a companion-style AI experience for personal reflection and guidance and it is basically help you in guiding and assist you follow a right path. It will help you to recover from the mental trauma. and you can share your feelings without hesitation and it will provide a solution like a krishna wisdoms

  • A scripture library featuring the Bhagavad Gita, Ramcharitmanas, Upanishads, and story-linked wisdom. these are the books which are self dubbed and these are the stories which are short stories in this user can enjoy 2-minutes stories that can motivate him to follow a right path

  • Krishna stories connected to emotional themes and life challenges, and these are the stories range upto 450 and these are help in motivating and enjoying the content of our website

  • Visual storytelling and animation to make wisdom more engaging and memorable

  • A mobile-friendly experience so users can access guidance anywhere

The goal is to help users move from confusion to clarity.

A user can come with a question, an emotion, or a life challenge, and then explore:

  1. a reflective AI-guided response,
  2. a related teaching or verse,
  3. a meaningful Krishna story,
  4. and one practical next step.

This turns Digital Krishna into more than a content platform — it becomes an experience of reflection, learning, and emotional grounding.

How we built it

We built Digital Krishna as a layered product that combines interface design, curated content, structured guidance, and AI-assisted development.

Frontend

We created the user interface using React, JavaScript, HTML, and CSS. We focused on:

  • responsive design across desktop and mobile devices,
  • a calm and visually consistent interface,
  • structured AI responses,
  • accessible navigation between Saathi GPT, scriptures, and stories,
  • and lightweight visual effects to avoid performance issues.

Backend and APIs

Our backend handles:

  • user-message processing,
  • communication with the AI model,
  • prompt construction,
  • response formatting,
  • content retrieval,
  • and delivery of structured JSON responses to the frontend.

The frontend and backend communicate through REST APIs. The application is deployed using AWS infrastructure.

Prompting and AI response design

Our work included:

  • Designing a polished web and mobile experience
  • Building a Saathi GPT interface for conversational guidance
  • Creating a scripture library with structured sections for reading and reflection
  • Organizing Krishna stories so they connect with real-life emotional themes
  • Building visual pages for story-based reflection and immersive learning
  • Making the platform responsive across devices
  • Creating strong presentation assets for submission, demo, and storytelling

We used Codex and GPT-5.6 extensively during Build Week to help us: -we used for debbuging our code

  • plan and refine the product architecture,
  • improve the user experience,
  • structure the AI companion flow,
  • organize content and features,
  • iterate on interface design,
  • debug and refine implementation details,
  • and document the product clearly for submission.

We also prepared the foundation for a more custom AI-guided experience through structured guidance design and model-oriented planning for Saathi.

Challenges we ran into

One of our biggest challenges was turning a broad spiritual idea into a product that feels useful in real life.means that we want to bring a friend like krishna in everyone life that can guide you to follow a right path and assist you to shine in your future.

our biggest challenge is to create a new and tuned supervised fine tuning model according to our resouces and trainings.

We had to solve several problems:

  • Balancing spirituality and usability: we wanted the platform to feel meaningful, but also practical and easy to use.And we want everyone to feel that they are not alone the krishna is everytime with him/her to assist and guide him.
  • Connecting different experiences: AI guidance, scriptures, stories, and animation had to feel like one unified product instead of disconnected pages.we want to connect to the every user like they really want a path to kove on and they are really confused what to do and what not to do.

  • Design consistency: we wanted a premium and calming visual language across desktop and mobile.we have built a positive and nostalgia feeling theme so they can feel the krishna ji vibes everywhere .

  • Content structuring: organizing scriptures, story themes, and guided experiences in a way that is intuitive took significant iteration.basically We organized teachings, themes, stories, and practical lessons into a structured content library.

  • Responsible communication: we wanted the platform to support reflection without making unrealistic claims or replacing real human support where needed.you feel like krishna is talking to you and feel nostalgic

  • Time pressure during Build Week: refining design, product flow, captions, demo assets, and submission materials under a deadline was a challenge.

Accomplishments that we're proud of

We are proud that Digital Krishna is not just a supervised fine tuning model it can sense your feeling by your words and it will feel you nostalgic and way far better so you can develop and positive aura around you.

Our key accomplishments include:

  • Building a clear and memorable Digital Krishna product identity
  • Creating Saathi GPT as a companion-like reflection experience
  • Building a visually engaging scripture library
  • Connecting wisdom, emotion, and story in one flow
  • Designing a mobile-responsive experience
  • Creating a strong visual language for the platform
  • Using Codex and GPT-5.6 meaningfully during development
  • Turning a spiritual inspiration into a product that feels modern, useful, and emotionally resonant

We are especially proud of how the project brings together AI companionship, spiritual wisdom, storytelling, and reflection in a single experience.

What we learned

We learned that building a meaningful AI product is not only about the model — it is also about the experience around it. We have built a such a nice team of higher educated individuals those gave lot of dedication in this project .

A strong product needs:

  • clear purpose,
  • thoughtful structure,
  • emotionally aware design,
  • good storytelling,
  • and a user flow that helps people understand what to do next.

We also learned that spiritual or reflective products must be designed with care. The experience should feel warm and inspiring, but also grounded, respectful, and practical.

Another major learning was how powerful Codex and GPT-5.6 can be as development partners. They helped us move faster, think more clearly about structure, and refine both technical and product-level decisions. Basiically Codex5.6 helped in building and debugging the model slightly very fast. and it helps in finding the mistakes where we are commiting and also helping in providing the better solutions

Most importantly, we learned that people do not always need more information — often, they need better guidance, better framing, and a calmer way to reconnect with what matters.

What's next for Digital Krishna

That we our bring it into the market with the scheme of the learn and earn scheme through that it will increase the productivity of our websiteand most of the people can visit our site by this scheme.

Our next goal is to keep evolving Digital Krishna into a more complete and intelligent companion platform.

Next steps include:

  • expanding Saathi GPT into a richer guided experience, and increasing the knowledge by searching the content .
  • improving content depth across scriptures and stories, and increase the video quality and the quantity of our stories.
  • connecting story themes more closely with user emotions and life situations,
  • adding more immersive visual and animated experiences,so that people can feel and imagine the positive vibes of the krishna ji around the world and most of the peop,e can indulge and increase there knowledge with this app.
  • strengthening the mobile experience,
  • expanding multilingual and culturally grounded guidance,
  • and continuing work toward a more custom AI companion architecture for Saathi.

In the long term, we want Digital Krishna to become a place where users can come not just to read, but to reflect, learn, and find practical clarity through a combination of AI, wisdom, and storytelling.
