Inspiration
Digital Inspection Platform was created to empower individuals and institutions in Iraq with a lightweight, accessible tool to check whether their digital identities (emails, Iraqi phone numbers, and IP addresses) have been exposed in global security breaches.
What it does
The platform serves as a real-time Threat Intelligence and Response tool:
- Email & Phone Inspection: Scans identifiers against known breach databases (including formatted +964 numbers).
- IP Intelligence: Fetches network geolocation and provider details instantly.
- Privacy First: Operates entirely client-side with zero server data retention.
- Official Security Reports: Generates verification reports that can be printed as PDFs.
How we built it
- Frontend: Built with HTML5, Tailwind CSS for modern responsive UI, and Alpine.js for lightweight state management.
- Integration: Utilizes external cybersecurity and threat intelligence REST APIs.
Challenges we faced
Optimizing API response handling to provide fast, reliable results without storing any user queries, while ensuring seamless responsive presentation on mobile devices.
What's next
Adding localized Iraqi cybersecurity advisories and integrating automated threat score calculations.
