Inspiration
Being from Alabama, the digital divide is all around me. Whether it be people my age or my grandmother, access to the Internet in the rural South is a huge problem. I have done digital literacy workshops working directly with elders and I have firsthand heard about the number of elderly people that are easily targeted by cybersecurity scams and have lost thousands of dollars as a result.
What it does
Digital Harmonies teaches wide ranges of digital literacy topics and focuses specifically on cybersecurity, whether it be building strong passwords, identifying unsafe websites, and catching scam emails.
How we built it
