Digital Easel

What it does

This lens allows users to "paint" a picture (landscape, portrait, etc.) in 5 different styles to choose from.

To do this, you need to place the easel on a flat surface and select the desired painting style using the picker ui.

After pressing on the screen, the picture will freeze what was located behind it, and you can enjoy your masterpiece

How we built it

To prepare 3d models, I used blender and substance painter.
Further, all the work was done inside Lens studio. The main focus was on working with render targets and shaders

Challenges we ran into

It was difficult to optimize the calculations in the shaders so that they could be used in the same project. But, it is approved and I succeeded🙂

Accomplishments that we're proud of

I'm glad I was able to complete this complex project despite constant power outages and air raid alerts.

What we learned

I improved my skills in 3D, work with render targets and shaders

In the near future, visual effects improvements, and the ability to export your paintings
