Inspiration## About the Project
🌟 Inspiration
This project is inspired by my doctoral research on digital cloning and human rights. I wanted to translate philosophical and legal questions into an immersive experience where users can directly face ethical dilemmas of the future.
🛠️ Plan
The idea is to build a Digital Cloning Lab in Horizon Worlds, where:
- Users create a digital clone of themselves,
- They interact with the clone and face ethical scenarios (e.g., should a clone have rights?),
- A virtual tribunal allows players to argue different perspectives.
The project will be remixable, so educators and creators can adapt it for philosophy classes, legal simulations, or creative storytelling.
⚡ Challenges
- Translating abstract research into engaging VR mechanics,
- Making clone interactions meaningful beyond visuals,
- Balancing scientific accuracy with creative freedom.
🚀 Next Steps
I am currently building the foundation of the world and testing different interactive assets. The next stage is to implement the tribunal simulation and release remixable templates for educators.
The ultimate goal is to spark dialogue: What does it mean to be human in the digital age?
