🚀 Getting Started

Prerequisites

  • Node.js (v18 or newer) installed on your system.

Running Locally

  1. Clone the repository:

cd Digital-Campus

  2. Configure Google Gemini AI (Optional for Live AI): Copy .env.example to .env and insert your Gemini API key:

    cp .env.example .env

    Edit .env:

    GEMINI_API_KEY=AIzaSyYourActualKeyHere
GEMINI_MODEL=gemini-1.5-flash

    (Note: You can also configure the key inside the web UI at pages/settings.html)

  3. Start the local server:

    node server.js

  4. Open the platform: Open your browser and navigate to:

    http://127.0.0.1:3000/

  5. Run AI Assistant Verification Tests:

    node test_ai_assistant.js
