📖 About the Project: Digital Brain

We live in a time where we consume an overwhelming amount of digital content — from YouTube videos and Instagram reels to X (Twitter) threads and Facebook clips. Some of these hold real value: a powerful idea, a useful tutorial, or an inspiring story. But in the constant flood of new content, the important ones slip away, and when we need them later, they’re often forgotten.

Digital Brain was created to solve this problem. It acts as a personal research assistant for your social media. When you paste a link, the system automatically:

  • Extracts the transcript
  • Generates a concise summary
  • Saves both as notes

On top of that, everything is auto-organized with AI-generated tags, so your growing collection of content stays searchable and structured.

The real magic lies in the chat system. Instead of scrolling through old notes, you can simply ask, “What was that video about?” and Digital Brain responds — with a clear answer and references back to the original source. This makes your library interactive, turning passive notes into a living, conversational knowledge base.

Thanks to Kiro, structuring and building the project was smooth, and deploying it on Railway was fast and effortless. The deployment process was seamless, letting me quickly go live with minimal setup, so the app could be tested and accessed reliably.

What inspired this project was the realization that while we spend hours on social media, we often fail to capture or revisit the insights that matter. With Digital Brain, nothing valuable is lost. It transforms fleeting media into a personal, searchable knowledge library, helping you save time, retain knowledge, and rediscover ideas whenever you need them.
