Digital Assimilation and Virtual Assistant

Inspiration

Growing loss of life inspite of technological advancements in disaster management due to lack of organized real-time data.

What it does

Collects real-time information about patients from all the hospitals in affected region and displays processed data to rescue teams regarding the number of patients to be evacuated with the medical condition of each patient and required immediate action to be performed. It also calculates and displays the nearest and most effective location for the patient to be evacuated and displaced depending on the closeness of the affected hospital to the unaffected serving hospital. It also tracks geographical coordinates of all the hospitals.

How we built it

We used node.js as our backend and materialize as our frontend. MongoDB is used as the real-time database

Challenges we ran into

Implementation of delegation of authority.

Accomplishments that we're proud of

Real-time arial distance tracking between affected and unaffected areas with special regards to hospitals.

What we learned

We learned teamwork and time management with ability to stay focussed for long span of time. We learned delegation of authority.
