What's next for Digital Addressing Validation Protocol
Phishing attacks are increasing rapidly, where attackers create fake websites, emails, and URLs to steal sensitive user information such as passwords and financial details. Identifying these phishing attempts manually is difficult, time-consuming, and error-prone, as phishing websites closely resemble legitimate ones. Existing systems mainly rely on basic detection techniques and user awareness, which are not always effective in detecting new and advanced phishing attacks. Therefore, there is a need for an automated and accurate system that can efficiently detect phishing URLs and protect users from cyber threats. The Random Forest algorithm is applied to classify URLs as real or fake. The system provides fast, accurate, and automated phishing detection, improving user security. The dataset used for training and testing is collected from publicly available sources like Kaggle. The proposed system provides higher accuracy, faster detection, and better reliability compared to existing manual methods. This project helps improve security and protects users from online fraud.
