Digideed is a blockchain-powered platform that facilitates fractional ownership of real estate in Africa. It allows individuals to invest in smaller shares of high-value properties, making real estate investment more accessible and affordable.
How it was built
- Conceptualization and Research: Research of the African real estate market, existing fractional ownership models, and the potential of blockchain technology. -Platform Architecture:Design of functionalities, created user personas, and outlined the technical infrastructure. This included tokenization of real estate assets, secure smart contracts for automation, and a user-friendly interface. -Technology Stack Selection: Evaluated blockchain platforms ( Lisk's Layer 2 solution), programming languages for smart contracts, and frameworks (React)for the user interface. -Development and Testing: This ongoing phase involves development, rigorous smart contract testing, and integration of various components.
