Inspiration
We wanted to reduce fast fashion waste by showing people what they already have and giving them a chance to tailor a look that is truly unique to them.
What it does
It allows you to mix and match clothes from your closet -Removes background from photos to truly get a feel of the fashion a clothing provides -Allows you to view your entire closet and plan outfits for the next day or events
How we built it
Caffeine and collaboration through GitHub made this project possible
Challenges we ran into
Learning an entirely new python package in 24 hours and Importing the app over the iOS and using x-code was time consuming and provided lot of conflicting information on the process of going about completing this task.
Accomplishments that we're proud of
Finishing the basic UI functions and bringing what we envisioned to life!
What we learned
A entirely new langue and how great collaboration can benefit a team.
What's next for DigiCloset
Our next action is to provide better features and customization and refine our process such as background removal, UI transactions, Bug catches, object detection, and provide a 3d avatar for the user. These next steps will provide a fun and interactive experience for our user allowing us to help share our love for fashion. This will allow people in our community to have a more unique style without spending thousands. In the far future we will provide a profile and allow you to share your 3d model and clothing style with your friends allowing you to sync you style with those in your community.
