What it does
Our application enables patients to submit their symptoms through an intuitive web-based interface. Doctors can then leverage AI-powered analysis to assist in diagnosing conditions, recommending tests, and suggesting potential treatments. The system integrates Azure OpenAI (GPT-4) to provide intelligent insights, helping doctors make more informed decisions while improving patient care.
Key Features: ✔ Patient Symptom Submission – Patients log symptoms in real time. ✔ AI-Assisted Diagnosis – AI analyzes symptoms and suggests possible conditions. ✔ Test & Treatment Recommendations – AI suggests diagnostic tests and potential treatments. ✔ Doctor Review & Decision Making – Doctors validate AI results and finalize diagnosis. ✔ Clean Architecture & Real-Time Updates – Ensuring scalability and efficiency.
This system enhances healthcare decision-making by combining human expertise with AI-driven insights, improving patient outcomes and optimizing doctor workflows. 🚑💡
How we built it
We separated the team into three areas focusing on different workloads: Devops, Frontend and Backend. Devops was concerned with the allocation of the resources for the project and ensuring code can be worked on in a collaborative manner and published when milestones are reached
Challenges we ran into
Figuring out role assignment for the platform we were using posed a challenge. Settinig up an azure workspace to facilitate collaboratinve efforts posed a challenge because it's an areea of unfamiliarity so we had to figure it out on the fly. We managed to get it working and adding persons to azure subscriptions to mnage resources. Configuring the front ends. Internet made it difficult to use AI in creating our solution
Accomplishments that we're proud of
We were able to all play to our strengths and specialty to holistically work towards achieving our end goal in a working application.
What we learned
Collaboration, work delegation, persistence,
