What it does
Daily Sacrifice is more of a social experiment with a nice little visual UI attached. The ship is sinking and the user must choose which item to throw overboard. The results of the community are tallied. What did the community sacrifice? The results may suprise you!
How we built it
This game was built with Phaser/Typescript/Devvit.
Challenges we ran into
Not being able to use our own backend presented some challenges and we unfortunately were not able to build the full functionality in time.
Accomplishments that we're proud of
We thought the look of the app came out nice.
What we learned
We learned a lot about using devvit and typescript (first time working with both).
What's next for Daily Sacrifice
We will be adding leaderboards where choosing the same sacrifice as the community will earn the user a star which can accumulate over daily plays.
