Inspiration

Learning to track data anywhere in the world became a huge hobby of mine. Why not put to use AI, the power of search, and geospatial technology and show the world just how great american athletes can be.

What it does

Multiple layer interactive map that shows climates, geography and hub spots where both Olypmic and Paralympic Athletes hail from.

the base layer shows the climate laid over mapping of the USA.

grouping of data shows where each grouping of Athletes came from.

clicking on each "data spot" the user can see the amounts of athletes, geographic and climate data.

How we built it

We used both Gemini and Google search to compile and extract the data. The data was then cleaned up using google sheets. After cleaning we created the mapping on ArgGIS to show our amazing Athletes.

Challenges we ran into

The only issue I had was trying to get all the player data, we realized soon after that it was a generalized data need.

Accomplishments that we're proud of

I am proud of the semi-final finished product. It shows the great story of how and where the Athletes hailed from.

What we learned

Gemini's beautiful ability to handle data, also that our country has some really amazing athletes! Go Team USA!
