Inspiration -- Not sure how I came up with this idea, I was thinking of some ML tool which will train on public health care data, but that idea was tedious, so dropped tough part(ML + data gathering) and rest of it is the website
What it does -- Enter Name, if your health record are found system will give diet tip to avoid certain conditions you've faced previously
How I built it -- building was easy but putting everything together was tough, python-flask made everything easy!!
Challenges I ran into -- Parse Large JSON files and highlighting content which is dynamically populated by system.
Accomplishments that I'm proud of is finishing hack on time, and staying awake, minimum food consumption(I'll followed diet before my system tipped me for one :D), learning something new like flask. I've never used flask before but I did it in less than a day!
What I learned Python-flask, parsing JSON files, API usage, data processing, some cool CSS tricks! and most important nothing more satisfying than finishing your hack!!!
What's next for DietSuggestor, I'll add ML algo's to predict future for patient, then it'll health care and diet specialist as system will see your future, in future.
