Observing the dire consequences of such habits on global health, we aimed to create a tool that not only aids in tracking daily food intake but also educates and empowers users towards making informed, healthier dietary choices.

"Diet Checker" is a comprehensive application that analyzes users' dietary inputs, identifies nutritional gaps, and provides personalized recommendations to improve their eating habits. It leverages AI to offer insights into vitamin and mineral deficiencies, suggests balanced meal plans, and educates users on the long-term benefits of a nutritious diet, thus promoting overall wellness.
How we built it
"Diet Checker" was innovatively crafted using an AI app generator, streamlining the development process and integrating cutting-edge artificial intelligence from the ground up. This approach allowed us to focus on refining the app's core functionalities: analyzing dietary inputs and generating personalized nutritional recommendations. To validate these recommendations and ensure their accuracy, we implemented an AI-driven validation system, rigorously testing against current nutritional standards and guidelines.
The app's backend infrastructure leverages cloud services to handle data processing and storage efficiently, ensuring scalability and robust performance. On the frontend, we focused on creating an intuitive user experience, enabling users to easily interact with the app, input their dietary habits, and receive instant feedback.
Challenges we ran into
One of the main challenges we faced was structuring a correct and effective recommendation system.
