That COVID lockdowns in the USA lead to increased sales of Blue Apron prepared-at-home food delivery.

Data Analyzed

I used Google Search Trends, as well as WorldData.ai for Blue Apron financial data. Yahoo Finance was used to chart Blue Apron's stock price.

Findings

The data showed that sales of Blue Apron's product were essentially flat during lockdown. Very few new signups occurred during the lockdown period. This was unexpected, especially when evaluating the price perforce of Blue Apron's stock for the same period.
