Beta 7: the opponents are fairy-tale characters, with voices of their own
Rolly is a mischievous forest pixie, Grabby a greedy goblin, and Rampage a little horned imp who thinks he is a warlord. Each voice was designed for its character with ElevenLabs Voice Design, and all 63 lines are acted: Rolly giggles and whispers, Grabby gloats and sulks, Rampage threatens and roars. The voices are made ahead of time, so the game stays offline, and a bot's speech bubble now stays up until its line has been said.
