Inspiration
Endometriosis is a chronic pain condition that affects ~1 in 10 women. Following onset of symptoms, it takes an average of 6-10 years for a woman to be diagnosed with endometriosis. This has knock-on effects not just for the patient, but society as a whole. Given the postcode lottery of primary care, we need a straightforward and cost-effective way to universally improve endometriosis diagnosis.
What it does
We have developed a framework where users can input answers to questions about their health and automated the calculation of the probability that the user has endometriosis.
