🚀 Inspiration

My inspiration for DhyanAI-2.0 comes from the increasing need for personalized health and wellness solutions. Many people struggle with tracking their habits, finding suitable yoga practices, and maintaining proper nutrition and a perfect diet. I aimed to build an intuitive platform that integrates technology with wellness practices to help users lead healthier and more balanced lives.


🌟 What it does

DhyanAI-2.0 is an all-in-one health and well-being application that helps users:

  1. Track Habits: Monitor daily good habits like drinking water, exercising, and practicing yoga.
  2. Personalized Yoga Recommendations: Get yoga asanas tailored to your health issues.
  3. Health Recipe Suggestions: Receive meal ideas based on available ingredients.
  4. Pomodoro Timer: Improve productivity by managing work and break intervals.
  5. AWS Cognito Authentication: Secure login and authentication for a seamless experience.

🛠️ How I built it

i used a combination of modern web Dev technologies and AI-powered services to create DhyanAI-2.0:

  • Frontend: Built using HTML, EJS, and Bootstrap for a responsive user interface.
  • Backend: Node.js with Express to handle requests and API calls.
  • Database: MongoDB to store user data and habits, nutrition data and tasks.
  • AI Services: Integrated SambaNova AI Cloud Services and Meta LLM to provide yoga recommendations and health recipe suggestions. AWS Stability Diffusion Image generation model for generating the yoga pose.
  • Authentication: AWS Cognito for secure user authentication and management.

⚠️ Challenges we ran into

While developing DhyanAI-2.0, we faced several challenges:

  • Integrating AI Services and Correct Prompting: Seamlessly connecting SambaNova AI with our application required careful configuration, prompting and testing. Getting the output from the AI model in a JSON format was really challenging !

A single AI Prompt for a feature in the application

  • Data Synchronization: Ensuring that habit tracking and health data were synchronized across devices and updates was tricky.
  • Personalization Accuracy: Providing truly personalized yoga and recipe recommendations took multiple iterations to fine-tune the AI model.

🏆 Accomplishments that i'm proud of

  • Successfully integrated AI-powered Yoga and Recipe Recommendations based on users' health concerns and needs.
  • Developed a Pomodoro Timer to enhance productivity alongside health tracking features.
  • Ensured secure and reliable user authentication using AWS Cognito.

📚 What I learned

  • The power of AI in health: Using AI to suggest personalized yoga asanas and recipes was a game-changer. Got introduced to the power of Prompt Engineering
  • Integration complexity: We learned a lot about integrating third-party services, especially in AI and authentication.
  • User Experience: Designing an intuitive interface that works seamlessly across devices was crucial for user satisfaction.

  • Mobile App Development: Expanding the platform to mobile devices for on-the-go usage.
  • Advanced AI Features: Implementing more advanced AI features for even better personalization.
  • Community Support: Adding a social feature where users can share their progress and encourage each other.
