Dhrishya - A Bot

Inspiration

When I was young, I too had so many questions related to menstruation and its hygiene. But I had no one to answer my questions. So, this inspired me to build a bot that can help girls in their early-teen years.

What it does

Dhrishya -The Bot, answers a variety of questions asked by users regarding menstrual health and hygiene.

How we built it

I used Python as my base language, many Tkinter components to build GUI and 'chatterbot' library.

Challenges we ran into

I faced many challenges while implementing the Speech Recognition feature.

Accomplishments that we're proud of

I feel very proud to say that I contributed to the betterment of women's health through my creation.

What we learned

Through this project, I learned many new concepts like the 'chatterbot' library, 'SpeechRecognition' library.

What's next for Dhrishya - A Bot

In Dhrishya - A Bot 2.0 version I'll release an app that tracks the female menstrual cycle and provide users with helpful analysis.
