Problem Statement
The Dead Internet Theory suggests most of what we see online is fake — written by bots, regurgitated by LLMs, and optimized for SEO sludge rather than real human value.
We're losing:
- Original thoughts
- Genuine creativity
- Intellectual ownership
If no one remembers who created what and when, the internet dies a slow, synthetic death.
Our Solution: Dewdrop
Dewdrop is a decentralized, AI-assisted protocol to record, verify, and timestamp human-created content — including ideas born during real-time meetings.
We do this by:
- Transcribing real brainstorming sessions using MeetStream
- Verifying originality of content using LLMs
- Storing outputs and transcripts on decentralized storage
- Providing a transparent audit trail of idea origin and authorship
Key Features
| Feature | Description |
|---|---|
| MeetStream Integration | Records brainstorming meetings and auto-generates transcripts |
| Transcript Pairing | Users upload both their content and source transcript for provenance |
| LLM-Based Originality Engine | AI model flags low-effort / reused content and scores originality |
| Content Registry Dashboard | View, search, and verify all uploaded artifacts and their transcripts |
| Decentralized Storage | Uses IPFS/Arweave to store creative content + transcripts forever |
| Proof-of-Origin Hashing | Every submission is hashed and timestamped for future verification |
Why This Matters
- Prevents idea theft by proving who thought it first
- Rewards genuine creativity in an AI-saturated world
- Preserves the intellectual lineage of innovation
- Builds an internet where human thoughts are forever archived
