Abstract

Managing financials as a group with today's demands is challenging, because of the lack of tools available, groups often turn to either E-transfers or creating a group bank account. Even in the best-case scenarios, group bills are confusing and stressful to track, awkward to talk about, and current options can leave users feeling insecure, unsure, and overwhelmed.

We designed a simple app that utilizes existing technology to automatically split, organize and track bill payments between groups of people while providing a feeling of privacy and security surrounding their finances. The app integrates PayPal and allows users to pay other users directly, allowing the app to track and organize group-related payments while staying out of individual bank accounts.
