Project Name: Dev-toolkit – One Toolbox for Every Developer The Problem We are constantly toggling between several tabs of the browser, and in each of them, a single tool—JSON formatter in one, regex tester in another, a JWT decoder elsewhere. They are full of ads, over-engineered, slow, or just broken. It is distracting and wasteful, and you simply want to get the job done quickly.

The Origin This project didn't start with some grand vision. It was just a random personal itch. I was tired of Googling "online UUID generator" or "JWT decoder" for the nth time, so I built the first one for myself. Then another one. And another one. Before long, I realized I was creating something that could actually be useful to other developers too.

The Solution DevDeck is an entirely frontend-only collection of daily developer utilities—built with React and Vite. It's clean, modular, fast, and doesn't rely on a backend. The idea was to gather day-to-day utilities in one simple location that works offline, takes your focus seriously, and just feels pleasant to use.

What It Includes DevToolkit includes such utilities as:

JSON Formatter and Validator

Regex Tester with immediate feedback

UUID Generator (v1 and v4)

Markdown Previewer

JWT Decoder (with header and payload explanation)

Base64 Encoder/Decoder

Color Converter (Hex, RGB, HSL)

CSS Gradient Generator

Simple Format Converters (hex to decimal, etc.)

Password Tools

QR code tools

Code Beautifier( html, css, Javascript )

Global Settings (dark mode, preferences)

All of this in a split second, without server calls or login gates. It's light, fast, and made for day-to-day development needs.

The Tech Behind It

Made with:

React with Vite for ridiculously fast development and load

Tailwind CSS for a clean and consistent UI

LocalStorage for storing user preferences

No backend—just static hosting (GitHub Pages or similar)

Why It's Special DevTookit is not trying to do everything. It just does the basics really well. No ads. No lag. No tracking. It's modular, so other tools can be added down the line with minimal effort. It works offline. And because it's open source, anyone can fork it or contribute.
