At Devs United, we saw a growing gap: while the rest of Salesforce was racing ahead with AI innovation, Marketing Cloud Engagement (MCE) customers were left behind—with no AI features in the current platform and a two-year wait to migrate to the new AI-enabled version.
We decided not to wait.
We began by sitting down with our clients, interviewing them to understand where they were feeling the pain and where AI could actually help. We collected a wide range of use cases—some simple, others complex—and then prioritized them by business value and implementation feasibility.
From that shortlist, we started building our own AI agent.
It wasn’t easy. It required complex API integrations, deep platform knowledge, and coordination across multiple systems. But the goal was simple: to deliver something useful and intuitive that marketers could use in their day-to-day work right now.
The more we built, the more we discovered—dozens of additional features we’d love to add. But rather than wait for the perfect solution, we focused on delivering real AI value today, without waiting two years for a platform migration.
When we shared early teasers of the agent with clients, the response was immediate:
“When can we start testing this?”
They were excited. So are we.
And there’s more coming—features like:
- Replicating complex journeys in seconds
- Generating a detailed engagement summary for any contact
These didn’t make it into our first demo, but they’re already working behind the scenes.
