About the project
DevQuest is a gamified learning platform designed to make learning programming more interactive and engaging.
Users complete coding quests, solve challenges, earn XP, unlock skills, and fight coding “bosses” by fixing broken code.
The project was inspired by the difficulty beginners face when learning programming through traditional tutorials. We wanted to turn that process into something closer to a game, where every challenge gives the user a visible sense of progress.
We are building DevQuest with HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and Firebase, with an AI mentor planned to provide hints without immediately giving away solutions.
During development, we aim to learn more about interactive web applications, user progress systems, APIs, and game-like interfaces.
