Inspiration

I really liked the Devpost Learn skill pack and wanted to create a hands-on companion to Joe’s videos. A place where people can try the steps, copy the commands, and learn in English or Vietnamese.

What it does

The site lets you try all seven steps before doing them on your own machine. Click through the simulator, choose sample answers, and see what the AI asks and which files it creates. It also explains how the AI interviews you to help turn your idea into a clear plan.

How we built it

I used the skill pack to build a guide about the skill pack! The first two steps helped me figure out what I wanted to make. I built it with Next.js, React, TypeScript, and Tailwind CSS, then deployed it on Vercel. I worked in small steps, testing and reviewing along the way.

Challenges we ran into

The hardest part was making the flow easy to follow. I kept everything in the same order as the skill pack, so users could move through it one step at a time. I also fixed a few issues with Vietnamese fonts and image loading.

Accomplishments that we're proud of

I made a learning site that I can use myself and share with friends. It feels good to turn something I learned into something useful for others.

What we learned

AI makes building faster, but having a clear plan helps a lot too. Breaking the work into small steps made it easier to check things and decide what to change.

What's next for Devpost Learn Skill Pack - Unofficial community guide

I want to grow this into a place where people can learn about AI, practice what they learn, and build their own AI agents.
