Devpost- Hack the System

Inspiration

The inspiration for Hack the System came from the idea that many real-world problems remain unsolved not because of lack of technology, but because of rigid systems and outdated solutions. We wanted to create a project that challenges the norm, redefines the approach, and builds something impactful for society.

What it does

Hack the System is designed to break barriers and provide smarter, faster, and more secure solutions. It identifies flaws or inefficiencies in existing systems and then offers optimized alternatives. The project focuses on making processes more transparent, efficient, and accessible for users.

How we built it

Brainstormed the core idea and defined the problem statement.

Designed the UI using Figma.

Built the frontend with React.js.

Developed the backend with Node.js/Express and used MongoDB for data storage.

Integrated APIs for authentication and analytics.

Deployed on Vercel/Heroku for a live demo.

Challenges we ran into

API integration errors and authentication issues.

Limited time to debug complex features.

Syncing code contributions across multiple team members.

Adapting quickly when initial ideas didn’t work as expected.
