Summary

Raka is a productivity device and desk accessory that redefines task and time management by making users' productivity visible and their workflow accessible. Our product integrates a mobile app where users create to-do lists with a physical device that displays a user’s progress in task completion. This visual cue directly addresses the “out of sight, out of mind” problem that traditionally occurs with software-only productivity tools in the market. Thus, Raka eliminates the tradeoff of having to choose between the visibility of physical tools (e.g., written to-do lists) and the functionality and convenience of technological ones. Moreover, Raka allows users to log time spent on their top activities through the device's buttons. This gathers key metrics for people to improve their time management and prioritize their most valuable activities.
