Inspiration
i played many games but i didnt found anything that keeps me engaging so i was playing mario game on my video game it inspired me to build this for reddit platform.
What it does
it is a endless game filled with 25+ traps user can play 4 levels of dynamic difficulty traps and and also they can create there own trap level and publish it. but the catch is they have to earn in game currency called coins to publish app. this motivates player to work hard and earn in game currency which keeps them hooked to the game
How we built it
i built it using phaser and react and on my pc but its better to play on mobile i coded day and night as i am student i learned so many things to make it
Challenges we ran into
it was very hard to integrate both phaser and react in one game also i became so frustrated to integrated api calls at last i used internal storage to store coins and score also my pc gets shuts down every 2 hours as it is pentium potato pc so it was very challenging to learn build and fix at same time
Accomplishments that we're proud of
at last i am happily submitting my first ever game the game for which i learned so much and worked too hard
also i successfully integrated both phaser and react and used ingame currency to keep hook of user successfully
What we learned
i learned that if i believe in myself and decide something i can definetly do it
also in tech we should learn properly about each term of code cause even a small js error can crash our game
What's next for Devils-game
i will integrate character skin in exchange of ingame currency to buy it also i am going to add some more levels which will be premium and also a community build option
