Developer Q&A

Inspiration

As a junior developer, I found it had to find answers to questions that arose as I was learning programming. Sites such as stack overflow helped although in some cases the explanation from them was not enough.

What it does

Developer q&a helps junior developers through their journey by enabling them ask and interact with other developers that understand the problems that they are going through. Junior developers can ask questions which are broadcast to other developers who may understand the challengers and help out by answering the questions.

How I built it

Developer q&a was built using the messenger graph API and using PHP programming language and a MySQL database.

Challenges I ran into

-There are a few things that would have made the development of Developer q&a easier for example the existence of a checkbox template within Facebook messenger. -Also am still trying to figure out if I should put some of the content in web-views which might help with user friendliness.

Accomplishments that I'm proud of

I am proud of the bot and looking forward to it helping many young developers out there.

What's next for Developer Q&A

Looking forward to integrating the chatbot with question and answer sites such as stackoverflow which would help quicken the process and avoiding repetition of questions and answers.
