Inspiration

I have participated in hackathons in the past, but each time I concentrated too much on the development and started working on the submission form at the last minute. This means that I could not spend much time on slide deck and demo video to explain my project. So I felt that a tool to easily draw architecture diagrams would help developers to focus more on development.

What it does

DevCanvas is an online architecture diagram drawing tool. In addition to being able to draw Shapes and Lines like PPT and Google slides, the most wonderful feature is that you can easily search and place icons on the diagrams. It can take a long time to find the right icons for AWS, Azure and so on when creating a system architecture. Using the search function within this tool, you can easily find an icon and place it on the diagram. Icons can be registered by users, and registered icons can be used by all users. In addition, architecture diagrams created within this tool can be registered as images of your own project by pressing the Submit button. The tool is designed to run in a browser, so online editing by multiple users is possible.
