Inspiration

The goal of Dev Heroes is to create a cohesive, unified place where developers and their fan bases can co-exist. In the current landscape, developers try to build communities with existing platforms that are patchwork at best. Not all platforms have all the needed features to allow a Developer-User relationship to grow and thrive.

Every Uniq in the Dev Heroes collection will provide a long-lasting utility. The utility that each Uniq holds has been meticulously thought about to ensure that from day one there is a strong utility for every Uniq in the collection. In an effort to create a growing ecosystem as the Dev Heroes platform takes shape, every Uniq in the Game Dev Heroes collection and future Dev Hero collections will unlock further utility.

Holders will be incentivized from day one to hold Dev Hero Uniqs and the incentives to hold them will only grow.

Why?

The Goal of Dev Heroes is to build a lasting community within the intersection of Web3 and gaming. There are thousands of talented developers, artists, and other game-related jobs that would love the chance to work alongside their favorite games to help influence, be a part of and build lasting connections with the studios that make them.

On the Developer side, there are thousands of indie games that never get the popularity they deserve. Indie developers and large studios alike will be able to establish a community and build it from the ground up on the Dev Hero platform. Post status updates, post jobs, freelance work, concept art, ask for concept art, participate in platform giveaways and marketing efforts, and more.

Users of Dev Heroes can browse these communities and join them much like they would visit a social media site and browse content there.

The main difference between traditional social media and the Dev Heroes platform is that Dev Heroes focuses on form and function that directly benefits developers and users alike. developers have access to job boards, concept art competitions, feedback forums, and more. Users can actively follow updates from their favorite games and actively participate in the development of such games.

Next-level engagement is what Dev Heroes strives for. Where hype is built throughout the development process, feedback is given early to not waste developmental time and money, and when the game has finally been released the developers and community helpers have a game they are proud of, and the users have a game they helped influence.

Developers can ask their audience which of the four features do you want to see in X game. Receive feedback, show early prototypes, receive feedback, iterate, and then wow the players with a truly polished feature.

I firmly believe that there is a lack of communication between users and developers and the Dev Hero Platform can close that gap by providing an invaluable feedback loop.
