About the Project
Inspiration
Learning a new language is exciting, but it can also be overwhelming. Many learners struggle to stay consistent because traditional language-learning methods are repetitive, expensive, or don't provide enough opportunities for real conversation. As someone interested in AI and technology, I wanted to explore how artificial intelligence could make learning German more engaging, interactive, and personalised. This project was inspired by the idea that everyone should have access to a smart language tutor available anytime.
What it does
DeutschAI is an AI-powered German learning platform designed for beginners and intermediate learners. It provides:
- Interactive German lessons
- AI-powered conversation practice
- Instant grammar explanations
- Vocabulary building with smart revision
- Pronunciation guidance
- Personalised quizzes and progress tracking
- Daily learning goals and recommendations
The platform adapts to each learner's progress, making language learning more effective and enjoyable.
How we built it
The project combines modern web technologies with AI to create an intelligent learning experience.
The application was designed with a responsive user interface, while AI is used to generate explanations, answer questions, simulate conversations, and provide personalised feedback. German vocabulary, grammar rules, and practice exercises are organised into structured learning modules.
