Inspiration: We were heavily inspired by the increasing depression Rates across the United States among teenagers; especially during the pandemic.
What it does: our innovation would enable the quicker treatment of depression.
How we built it: we built off of preexisting studies done on neurotransmitters and their impact on mental health
Challenges we ran into: we ran into challenges when attempting to understand how our innovation would be cost efficient.
Accomplishments that we're proud of: The whole project; neither of us have ever done anything like this before, so we are very grateful for the experience.
What we learned: We learned so much about the research process and determining reliable sources when making assertions. We also learned how to work under a time constraint to research.
