Inspiration
What it does
Project Idea: Nowadays, data scientists often face difficulties finding high-quality and relevant datasets for their projects. To solve this problem, we decided to build Data Hub, a platform that acts as a bridge between dataset providers and data users. It allows users to discover, access, and manage datasets from a centralized location, making the data collection process faster, easier, and more efficient.
Technologies Used:
- Frontend: React.js, HTML, CSS, JavaScript
- Backend: Node.js, Express.js
- Database: MongoDB
- Authentication: JWT
- Version Control: Git & GitHub
- Deployment: Vercel
What I Learned: Through this project, I gained hands-on experience in building a full-stack web application from scratch. I learned how to design REST APIs, manage databases, implement secure user authentication, integrate frontend and backend services, and deploy applications to the cloud. I also improved my problem-solving, debugging, teamwork, and project management skills while creating a solution that addresses a real-world challenge faced by data scientists.
