Inspiration

We asked a simple question: What if the way we manage our relationships could actually reveal our purpose in life?

DestinyAlert AI Lite was born from a deep desire to help people—especially purpose-driven professionals—see how relational clarity is a prerequisite to personal calling. Built on the GapCafe 7 Stages of Life framework, DestinyAlert empowers users to examine emotional gaps in their most important connections and align them with their stage of life and Kingdom identity.

What We Learned

  • How to build a fully functional voice-first app in Bolt.new using dynamic blocks, flows, and conditional logic.
  • How to integrate Google Contacts with OAuth 2.0 to import relational data.
  • How to use ElevenLabs for emotional voice journaling and AI conversation.
  • How to craft a Russell Brunson–style story funnel inside an AI assistant to create maximum user clarity and engagement.
  • How to balance faith-centered UX with technical AI insights.
  • How to deploy effectively on Netlify while managing environment-specific authentication.

How We Built It

  • Bolt.new was the primary development platform. All major screens, logic, and conversational UI were built using Bolt’s visual logic tools and data flows.
  • Google People API: Integrated using OAuth for importing real contact data and categorizing users into four key relational quadrants.
  • GapCafe Framework: Users were guided through life stage identification based on GapCafe’s 7 spiritual and emotional development stages.
  • ElevenLabs Voice AI: Enabled conversational journaling, check-ins, and spiritually warm feedback.
  • Tavus: Used for personalized AI video agent that narrates insights and guides users through relational check-ins.
  • Netlify: Handled deployment, domain routing, and OAuth callback configuration.
  • Markdown + Devpost: Used to document and share our development process and story.

Challenges We Faced

  • OAuth Setup: Setting up Google OAuth on Netlify required proper domain whitelisting and troubleshooting redirect URIs in a live environment.
  • Voice Integration Timing: Timing ElevenLabs responses and creating a seamless UX for users across browser types was tricky.
  • Relational Mapping Logic: Creating the logic for life stage + relational health intersection required custom flows in Bolt with dynamic scoring logic.
  • Scaling Within Bolt’s Visual Limits: While Bolt is powerful, some features had to be adapted creatively using embedded custom code and flows.
  • Time Management: Balancing a technically rich build with a meaningful emotional and spiritual journey within the hackathon timeline was the biggest test—and our greatest reward.
