Inspiration

Sometimes majority of our times goes in deciding the destination for the holiday, so this website will become time-saver and we will be able to enjoy much more.

What it does

For now as it is small scale, there 50 destinations in a local json database, on clicking the spin button on main screen with beach background, it gives you a random destination and the country where it is located.

How we built it

Basically I used basic technologies like HTML, CSS-for styling, JavaSript for reading the data, and .json and .csv file to store data.

Challenges we ran into

so biggest challenge for us was to create and implement a database in the project, as none of us was aware and were new to database implementation.

Accomplishments that we're proud of

we were able to tackle the problem of getting and setting data on the page, but we did it and we are proud for that.

What we learned

in this project we were all rookies, and we learnt, something maybe too basic, how read and write data from json file using JavaScript.

What's next for Destination Randomizer.

-Increasing the Range of our DataBase. -Filtering the Regions as per the need of the user. -Helping user to plan their Holiday. -Only rendering properly in Chrome browser, will try to make it responsive and compatible with all the platforms.
