We want to make learning about what's beyond our planet an interactive and fun process!
What it does
With Tabletop Space Museum, you are able to arrange your very own museum of the solar system! This experience comes with realistic 3D models of the planets, along with matching informative facts about each of the planets!
Challenges we ran into
Challenges we came across included struggles with converting Blender models to OpenGL models and learning how to use Kotlin as opposed to Java.
What we learned
We learned how to use AR in a mobile application and how to create a demo for a product within a limited time frame!
What's next for Desktop Space Museum
Possible future additions for Tabletop Space Museum are including support for 3D placement of the planets and adding multiple panels of information for each planet.
